Shiraz Wall Light

An oval of textured clear glass held at the end of a curving brass arm, with a brass button at its centre where the light comes from. Available as a single arm or a facing pair.

Each curved arm sweeps out and up from a round brass wall plate and finishes flat against the back of a glass ellipse, so the glass floats clear of the wall rather than sitting on a bracket. The glass is cast with a coarse woven texture that breaks the LED into a field of small bright points instead of one flat panel, and because the source sits at the centre the brightness falls away towards the edges. The two light version mirrors the arms left and right off a single plate, which is why it works over a mirror or a bed rather than in a corner.

Where it works: above a bedside table, over a hallway console, or either side of a mirror in a bedroom.
