Behshahr Semi Flush Ceiling Light

Three cream cylinder shades held out on polished chrome arms from a short central stem, sitting close to the ceiling.

The stem drops only a little way from the ceiling plate, then three slim chrome arms sweep out and turn up to carry the shades, so the light sits above the horizontal rather than below it and washes the ceiling as well as the room. The shades are straight sided cylinders in a cream faux silk with a soft sheen, and because they are open top and bottom the fitting throws light in both directions. Everything else is polished chrome, including the ceiling plate and the small central boss.

Where it works: a living room or bedroom with a standard ceiling height, and a landing where a full pendant would hang too low.
