Shiraz Semi Flush Ceiling Light

A deep black dome on a short stem, sitting close to the ceiling with a stepped crown where the shade meets the stem. The warehouse shape, shrunk to fit a hallway.

The shade has a rolled rim and a ridged step at the crown, pressed in metal and powder coated matt black inside and out. Because the whole fitting sits so shallow it clears a low hallway ceiling where a pendant would be in the way, and it still throws light straight down like a pendant would. The bottom is fully open, so the lamp is visible from below and a plain glass envelope will glare. A round black ceiling plate covers the outlet.

Where it works: a hallway, a landing, a small kitchen, or any low ceiling room where a hanging fitting would be caught by a head or a door.

Choose the lamp with care: the shade is open underneath, so a decorative filament or an opal envelope will look far better from below than a bare LED stick. No bulb is supplied.
