Kashan Pendant Light

A rounded dome of thick cut crystal on a slim cord, small enough to hang three or four in a row over a worktop without the run looking heavy.

The glass is cut into broad facets that wrap the dome, and each one takes the lamp inside and throws it off at a different angle, so a row of them scatters light across a surface rather than laying down flat circles. The cap and the ceiling canopy are brass finished, and the cord can be shortened at installation. It is a small fitting, which is what makes a run of them work over an island: enough sparkle to be worth looking at, not enough bulk to crowd the space.

Where it works: a row over a kitchen island or a dining table, or singly at bedside height beside a bed.

One fitting per order, so count your run before you buy. No lamp is supplied, and a clear lamp gets far more out of the cut glass than a frosted one.
