Kerman Flush Ceiling Light

A clear rippled glass drum held flat to the ceiling by a matt black ring. It clears a low hallway ceiling and still shows the lamps inside.

The glass is pressed with a deep water ripple, so the two lamps behind it break into a shifting pattern instead of showing as two hard points. Clear rather than opal, it keeps the fitting bright and lets a decorative filament read through the texture. The frame is a plain matt black band around the rim with a matching plate above, which is all the structure a drum this shallow needs. It sits close enough to the ceiling for a hallway or a landing with no height to give away.

Where it works: a hallway, a landing, a bedroom or a utility room where the ceiling is too low for anything that hangs.

Bulbs are not included and they show through the clear glass, so choose a pair of decorative filament lamps rather than plain frosted ones.
