Yazd Table Lamp

Three small LED heads on a slim chrome column, each throwing a soft halo of light onto the wall behind, so the lamp draws with light rather than lighting a room.

Each head sits on a bent arm that slides and turns on the column, so the three projected circles can be overlapped, stacked or spread apart, and the effect changes completely with how far the lamp stands from the wall. The light itself is warm and gentle, which is the point: this is atmosphere rather than illumination and it will not replace a reading lamp. The column and its flat base are polished metal, and the LED is built in.

Where it works: a living room behind a sofa, a bedroom on a chest of drawers, or a home office where a plain wall can take the projection.
