Chalus Pendant Light

Three small faceted crystal shades hung in a row from a slim brass bar, each one cut so a single lamp reads as a handful of bright points.

Each shade is a thick block of clear crystal cut into deep facets, so it works as a jewel rather than as a diffuser. The lamps sit inside them and the light comes out through the cut faces in fans that move as you walk past. All three hang on brass flex from a slim bar, which is what makes this a fitting for a run rather than a spot: it lines up along an island or a table where three separate pendants would need three separate ceiling points.

Where it works: over a kitchen island, along a dining table, or above a long console where three small points of light suit better than one big fitting.

Bulbs are not included. Clear lamps are the right choice here, because the cut crystal needs a point source to work and a frosted lamp would waste it.
