Three textured glass globes on a slim brass stem rising from a white marble column, tall enough to hold a console on its own.

The globes are clear glass with a crinkled inner texture, so each one scatters the light from its lamp into a fine web instead of showing a single bright point. They sit at three different heights on the stem, which stops the lamp reading as a symmetrical ornament and gives it some movement. The base is where the weight is: a polished brass disc under a section of white marble, veined and cut square at the top, which anchors the height without needing a wide footprint. Assembly is required.

Where it works: a hallway console, a bedside table with room to spare, or a living room sideboard where a tall lamp balances a low sofa.
