Siyavash Pendant Light

A brass ring with an opal glass globe hung at its centre and three smaller printed globes set around the rim like planets in orbit.

The centre globe is plain opal, so it carries the actual light and hides its lamp completely. The three small globes are printed glass in banded browns and creams, lit from inside at low power, and they are decoration rather than illumination. Everything hangs from a rigid brass rod with a flat canopy, and the ring holds its shape rather than swinging. It is a proper fitting rather than a novelty, even though the planets give away who it was drawn for.

Where it works: a bedroom, particularly a child's, a landing, or a living room corner where a small round pendant suits the space.

Ask us to confirm the three small lamp holders before you order. The supplier calls them G3, which is not a base you can buy in the UK, and you will need three of them.
