Fine chrome chains hung in falling tiers from a scalloped chrome frame, narrowing to a point so the whole fitting reads as a cascade rather than a solid shade.

The frame is a shallow chrome collar with curled edges, and every one of those curls carries a length of fine chain that falls free. The chains are graded so the outer ones stop short and the inner ones run down to a point, which is what gives the tassel its cone silhouette. Four candle lamps sit high inside the frame, above the chain, so the light comes down through the metal and the whole cascade lights up rather than being a dark mass under a bright bulb. It has real presence without ever reading as heavy.

Where it works: over a dining room table, in a bedroom, or in a stairwell where it can be seen from more than one floor.

Bulbs are not supplied. Clear candle lamps sit above the chain and light it from within, so keep them small and bright rather than opal.
