Sanandaj Semi Flush Ceiling Light

Four solid crystal cubes on short brass arms, each one cut with a bevel on every face so a single lamp inside throws light in a dozen directions.

The cubes are thick pressed crystal rather than thin glass, and the bevelling is deep enough that the block looks solid until it is lit, at which point the light picks out every internal edge. They sit on tapered brass arms that radiate from a short central stem, two turned up and two turned down, which spreads the sparkle onto the ceiling as well as into the room. The whole fitting sits tight to the ceiling, so it suits a small room where a chandelier would be too much.

Where it works: a bedroom, a hallway, or any low ceiling where the fitting has to sit tight to the plaster.

Bulbs are not supplied. A clear lamp gives more sparkle inside solid crystal than a frosted one.
