A brass starburst of six slender arms tipped with amber glass globes, radiating from a black ceiling canopy for a warm, ambient glow.

Each arm is brass, springing from a compact black canopy and ending in a small amber glass globe that softens the lamp inside to a warm, honeyed light rather than a bare point. The starburst spread mounts close to the ceiling rather than dropping on a chain, so it suits a room where a pendant would hang too low. It reads as a proper centrepiece rather than a background fitting, and sloped-ceiling compatibility means it isn't restricted to a flat roof.

Where it works: a living room ceiling, an open-plan kitchen and dining area, or a hallway with height to spare.
