Six opal glass globes cap a brass cross of arms radiating from a central cylinder, mounted close to the ceiling for a mid-century look without the drop of a chain.

The arms radiate outward in a cross-shaped silhouette from a central brass cylinder, each one ending in a rounded opal glass globe rather than a bare bulb. The frosted glass spreads the lamp's light evenly across the globe surface, and the brass finish picks up warm highlights against a pale ceiling. Sloped-ceiling compatibility and a semi-flush mount mean it works in rooms where a hanging chandelier would sit too low.

Where it works: a living room or dining room ceiling, or a bedroom with a lower or sloped ceiling.
