Shushtar Semi Flush Ceiling Light

Six slim black arms fan out from a central hub on a short drop, each one holding a bare filament lamp clear of a low ceiling.

The arms sit on three different planes rather than one flat ring, so from below the fitting draws a loose sputnik instead of a wheel. Each arm ends in a plain cylindrical holder with the lamp left completely exposed, which means the lamp you choose is part of the design: a clear or amber filament lamp gives the warm glassy look in the photograph. Everything is powder coated matt black, including the deep cylindrical canopy, and the drop rod is adjustable so the fitting can sit tight to a low ceiling or hang a little further down.

Where it works: a kitchen, a dining room, or any low ceiling where a hanging pendant would be in the way.
