Rasht Wall Light

The same twin stem wall light in a brushed bronze so dark it reads as black, with two fluted clear glass cylinders above.

A round backplate, a horizontal bar across it, and two tapered stems dropping to points: the shape is identical to the brass version and the character is not. The brushed bronze sits close to black in most light, with copper only showing where a highlight catches it, which is exactly how the supplier describes it. Against a pale plaster wall that contrast is the whole effect. The clear glass cylinders are fluted, so the vertical ribs break the filament into stripes of light rather than a single bright line. Shades lift off for cleaning.

Where it works: as bedside lights in pairs, along a hallway, or on a bedroom chimney breast where the dark metal reads against a light wall. It suits a living room equally well.
