Lahijan Wall Light

One fluted clear glass cylinder on a slim brass stem that tapers to a point below the backplate, on a plain round brass disc.

This is the single light version of the same design and it suits a narrow wall where a twin would crowd. The tapered brass stem runs the full height of the fitting and finishes in a sharpened point, which is what gives it the candle like proportion rather than the stubby look most single wall lights have. The glass cylinder is clear and fluted, so the ribs repeat the filament vertically and the light stays lively instead of flat. Burnished brass rather than bright lacquer, so it warms rather than glares.

Where it works: at bedside height beside a bed, down a hallway at intervals, or either side of a bedroom mirror.
