Neyshabur Table Lamp

A clear glass lamp base with a gold tone holder, sold on its own so you can choose the shade that suits the room it is going into.

The base is blown clear glass in a bottle shape, wide at the shoulder and drawn in at the neck, so the cable running down inside it is part of the look rather than something to hide. Standing tall enough to balance most drum shades, it takes any shade with a matching fitting. Clear glass does almost nothing to the light, which means the lamp you choose sets the character: a warm filament reads soft and amber through the glass, a plain opal lamp reads clean and white.

Where it works: a bedroom chest, a hallway console, or a living room sideboard, with a shade chosen to match the room.
