Ten bulbs on a black cable, each sitting inside a fluted collar, for a fence, a pergola or the wall above a patio table.

The collars are what make this one worth looking at: a shallow fluted disc behind each bulb that reflects light forwards and gives the string a shape in daylight, when most festoon lighting is just a wire. The bulbs sit evenly spaced along a black cable and run off the mains through a flat UK plug, so there is nothing to charge and nothing to replace at the end of the season. An extension kit is available if one length does not reach.

Where it works: along a garden fence or a pergola, above a patio table, or across a porch.

We will confirm the ingress protection rating before this ships. Until then treat it as a covered porch or pergola string rather than one for open weather.

Returns 14 days from delivery, no reason required. If it arrives damaged we cover the return — transit damage is our problem.
