Bam Pendant Light

A tinted glass globe on a brass lamp holder, hung from a matt black cable, open at the base so the light drops rather than spreads.

The glass is mirror tinted on the outside and warm on the inside, so unlit it reads as a dark reflective ball and lit it turns amber around the lamp. The holder is exposed brass with a knurled collar, which is the detail that stops the fitting looking anonymous, and the ceiling plate and cable are matt black to keep the contrast. It is small enough to hang in a row of three over an island, or singly beside a bed, with the drop adjustable at installation.

Where it works: at bedside height beside a bed, in a run along a hallway, or in a row of two or three over a kitchen island.
