A straight black bar fixes to the ceiling and five black cables drop from it at even spacing, each holding a squat clear glass shade with a pale alabaster element glowing inside. The outer glass is there for depth rather than diffusion, catching a rim of light around the edge while the stone softens what comes through the middle. Repeated five times the effect is rhythmic, which is why this form works over a worktop where an even spread matters more than one bright centre. The cables appear to be adjustable at the canopy, though the supplier does not state a range.
