Bandar Wall Light

Two faceted hand cut crystal globes on brass stems, rising from a round brass plate crossed by a dark bronze bar.

The backplate is a plain brass disc, and a horizontal bar in a darker bronze runs across it and out to both sides, with a stem at each end carrying a crystal globe. That two tone detail is the whole design and it is the reason the fitting does not read as a generic twin wall light. Each globe is solid crystal glass, ground and polished by hand with hexagonal and pentagonal facets, open at the top so light escapes upward as well as through the cut faces. Lit, the pair throw small hard points onto the wall between them.

Where it works: over a bed at bedside height, either side of a bedroom mirror, or in a hallway where a wider wall light suits.

The globes are open at the top, so the lamps show from above. Keep the light warm rather than cool.
