A round bronze frame set with two rows of upright clear crystal prisms at staggered heights, hung on a chain.

The silhouette is a drum, but it is built from bars rather than a shade: a dark metal frame carries dozens of faceted rectangular crystal prisms standing on end, some tall and some short, so the top edge reads as a crown rather than a straight line. The lamps sit inside the ring and light the crystal from behind, which is what makes the prisms glow along their length instead of only sparkling at the tips. The frame is finished in a dark bronze that reads gunmetal against the glass. It hangs on a chain, so the drop is set by removing links.

Where it works: over a dining room table, or in a living room with the ceiling height to hang a wide drum well clear of heads.
