Bam Table Lamp

A small woven lantern shade on a black wire base, the whole lamp built from bent wood ribs and open-weave natural linen panels that throw the pattern of the weave onto the wall behind it.

The shade is built like a lantern: bent wood ribs curving out and back in, with panels of open weave natural linen stretched between them, so it is textured all over and never quite transparent. Lit, the ribs read as dark lines while the panels glow, and the shape casts a soft grid across whatever is behind it. It sits on a thin black wire base with splayed legs, which lifts the weight off the surface and stops the lamp looking bottom heavy. Small and light, it works as a corner accent rather than a main light.

Where it works: a bedside table, a hallway console, or a reading corner as a low second light beside something taller.
