A cordless dome lamp in a soft dusty pink that charges over USB and carries its own light out to a patio table or a poolside chair.

A deep dome cap on a short tapered body, with a small raised cap on top and a single control button low on the side. The paint is a matt dusty rose, closer to terracotta than to a pale blush, and it sits flat with no sheen so it reads as a solid object rather than a shiny one. Light leaves the underside of the dome and falls in a warm ring on whatever the lamp is standing on, which is why it works on a laid table rather than in the middle of a room. The whole thing is metal, painted inside and out.

Where it works: on a patio or dining table outdoors after dark, on a garden side table, or anywhere indoors that has no spare socket.
