Garmsar Table Lamp

A cordless dome lamp in a deep muted green, charged over USB, small enough to live in a basket and be carried out to the garden.

The green is deep and slightly grey, a soft eucalyptus rather than anything acid, and the matt paint keeps it flat even in direct sun. The shape is a heavy dome cap over a short tapered body with one button low on the side, which is all the control there is. All the light leaves the underside of the dome, so it pools warmly on whatever is beneath it and leaves the room above unlit, which is the trick that makes a small lamp feel like candlelight. Painted metal throughout, and no weather rating is confirmed, so treat it as an occasional outdoor lamp.

Where it works: in a garden or on a patio in the evening, on a bedroom chest of drawers with no socket nearby, or moved room to room as a spare light.
