Saveh Table Lamp

A wide bronze cone shade balanced on a tall tapered column, quiet in weight, for a console or a bedside table.

Two cones, one inverted over the other, and almost nothing else. The shade is a shallow bronze cone that closes the light down into a soft pool on the surface beneath it, with a warm metallic rim at the top that catches the lit bulb and glows. The base tapers from a broad foot to a narrow neck, so the whole silhouette leans forward slightly rather than standing to attention. The finish is a dark bronze with a satin sheen rather than a polish, on iron, and it stays warm brown rather than tipping orange under a warm bulb. The cable is fitted with an in-line on off switch.

Where it works: a bedside table where you want light pooled rather than spread, a living room side table, or a hallway console.
