A cloud of frosted glass spheres hung on fine black wires at staggered heights, so the cluster reads as one soft mass of light rather than three separate bulbs.

Nineteen or thirty seven frosted glass bubbles are suspended from a single black hub on individual wires cut to different lengths, which is what gives the cluster its drifting, uneven silhouette. Frosted glass diffuses rather than transmits, so each sphere glows evenly and the three lamps hidden inside the mass never show as hot spots. The metalwork is deliberately thin and black to disappear against a ceiling and leave the glass doing all the work. This is a room-defining piece rather than general lighting.

Where it works: over a living room seating group, above a dining table, or dropped into a stairwell where the full height can be read from below.

Bulbs are not included, so budget for three lamps. Warm white suits the frosted glass, and the fitting needs a fixed ceiling point rather than a plug.
