Estahban Table Lamp

A lamp wrapped from foot to shade in a natural oatmeal weave, with a straight cylinder shade over a tapered cone base.

Both halves are covered in the same slubby oatmeal fabric, so the lamp reads as one continuous shape rather than a base with something balanced on top. The weave is uneven by design, with thicker threads running through it that catch a low sun and give the surface some depth. Lit, the fabric glows rather than glares, and because the shade is a straight sided cylinder the light goes up and down in two even columns rather than spreading sideways. The frame underneath is iron, which gives it enough weight to stay put, and the cable carries an in-line on off switch.

Where it works: a living room side table, a bedroom nightstand, or a reading corner where you want warmth rather than brightness.

The maximum output for this fitting is low, so a modest LED is the right lamp for it and anything hotter is outside the specification.
