Damghan Semi Flush Ceiling Light

A cluster of swirled clear glass globes on a brass or nickel canopy, with the three lamps buried inside so nothing glares back at you.

The glass is blown with a rippled optic twist running around each globe, and that texture breaks the light into moving lines instead of letting it pass straight through. Globes come in three sizes, packed at different depths so the cluster has a rounded, uneven edge rather than a flat face. Three candle lamps sit in the middle where the outer glass hides them. The canopy holds the body close to the ceiling, so this is semi flush rather than tight to the plaster.

Where it works: a hallway, a stairwell landing, or a dining room where the spread suits the scale of the space.

Bulbs are not supplied. Small clear candle lamps work better here than opal ones, because the ripple in the glass is what does the work.
