The body is wide and rounded like a vase or an urn, narrowing to a short raised neck where the cable connects, cast in resin with a natural, matte, plaster-like surface texture rather than a glossy one. Light spills from the open base beneath the vessel, warm and a little uneven, in keeping with the deliberately imperfect, handmade look the shape and texture both suggest.
