Each of the six arms ends in a small frosted opal glass globe that houses the lamp, diffusing the light into a soft, diffused glow rather than showing a bare filament, so it reads as a considered fixture rather than a stark industrial one. It sits close to the ceiling, semi flush, which suits a room with a lower ceiling height where a hanging chandelier would sit too low.
