A blown glass teardrop scattered with white confetti flecks, hung from a brushed brass collar on a black fabric flex. It reads as opal from a distance and as speckled up close.

The shade is a seeded, semi translucent glass with irregular patches of white laid into it during blowing, so the surface is never even: some areas glow brightly and others hold the light back, and the pattern changes as you walk past. The shape is a soft teardrop, widest below the middle and drawn into a narrow neck at the brushed brass top. Light diffuses out in every direction rather than being pushed down, which is why it suits a table it is hung above rather than a work surface. The black fabric cable is adjustable, so the drop can be set to suit your ceiling height at installation.

Where it works: over a dining table, in a hallway, or as a single statement in a living room. There is a matching table lamp in the range.
