Talesh Table Lamp

A frosted confetti glass dome hung from a slim satin brass effect cantilever, so the shade sits out over the table rather than on top of the base.

The shade is semi translucent white glass shot through with amber and brown flecks, so it reads as alabaster when it is lit and as a pale marbled stone when it is not. It hangs mouth down from a thin square section arm that rises from a small round base and turns through a right angle, an Art Deco move that keeps the whole lamp narrow. The frame is steel with a satin brass effect plating, warm rather than yellow. A cable runs from the base to an in-line switch on the flex. It stands tall and narrow on a small round base, so it takes up little space against a wall.

Where it works: a bedside table, a hallway console, or a living room side table where a narrow lamp has to sit against a wall.
