The shade is a rough cast resin dome that reads almost like a weathered stone surface, mottled grey with warm rust breaking through at the folds of its scalloped, flower-like edge. Left open at the base, it exposes the lamp rather than hiding it, so the bulb itself becomes part of the fixture's character. This sits low and wide over a table rather than needing height, and the black cord keeps the focus on the shade.

Where it works: centred over a round or oval dining table, above a kitchen island, or as a single statement drop in a living room.
