Siyavash Ceiling Light

A rectangle of opal acrylic in a shallow wood effect frame, sitting flat to the ceiling and lighting a whole desk or sofa run evenly.

It is a panel rather than a fitting with a shade, so the light leaves the whole face at once and there is no bright spot to sit under. The frame is MDF with a printed oak grain and a graphite aluminium edge, which is what keeps a panel this size light enough to fix to a plasterboard ceiling. The integrated LED spreads an even, diffused light across the full panel rather than from a single point, and there is a timer and a night-light mode built in as well.

Where it works: over a desk in a home office, along a living room seating run, or above a kitchen island where the long rectangle matches the worktop.
