Qaren Pendant Light

A large brass ring frames a small faceted crystal cylinder shade at its centre, with a sculpted bronze dragonfly resting along the lower curve of the ring.

The ring itself carries no light, it is a sculptural brass frame that sets off the crystal cylinder shade suspended within it, where the single bulb actually sits. Cut crystal panels around the cylinder catch and scatter the light into small points rather than a flat glow, while the bronze-toned dragonfly and branch ornament along the ring's lower edge gives the piece a quieter, more decorative note than a plain circle would. It has enough presence for a room with some ceiling height.

Where it works: over a living room seating area, in a dining room, or as a hallway centrepiece with height to spare.
