A candle bulb is the tall pointed envelope, 3.5cm across and 9.8cm long, that sits in a candle style holder without looking wrong protruding from the top of it. The glass is clear and the filaments are visible, running as vertical strips that glow warm, so these suit fittings where the bulb is on show rather than hidden behind a shade. They are dimmable, which filament LEDs are not always, and the supplier gives 4W as the maximum. Glass and aluminium alloy, sold in a pack of 3.

Where it works: a dining room fitting with candle arms, a hallway light, and any candle style holder that takes a small Edison screw cap.

The golf ball pack in the same range publishes 2700K and this one does not, which is inconsistent rather than unknowable. Ask the supplier for it.
