Galugah Table Lamp

A faceted bronze base under a taupe cotton shade, sold as a complete lamp with the cable and holder already fitted.

The base is cast in flat planes like a cut gem, so no two faces catch the light the same way and the bronze reads pale gold on one facet and near brown on the next. It is aluminium underneath, which keeps the weight manageable, finished in an aged bronze that stays warm without going orange. The shade is taupe cotton on an iron frame, tapered, and that greyed beige is doing real work here: it warms the light coming through it and keeps the faceted base as the thing you look at. A cable with an in-line on/off switch runs from the back.

Where it works: a bedroom dresser, a hallway console table, or a living room sideboard where the facets get some side light.

One thing to confirm before ordering: the supplier's spec block calls the shade snow white while everything else says taupe. The photograph shows taupe.
