Four small alabaster capsules on separate black cords, swagged from four ceiling points so the drops can be arranged as loosely or as tightly as the room allows.

Each shade is a short capsule of natural alabaster, straight sided with a rounded base, capped in black metal at the top. The stone is thin enough to glow rather than block, so each drop reads as a small warm mass instead of a bright point, and the veining runs differently through every one. The important detail is the suspension: the supplier confirms four individual canopies rather than one, which means four ceiling fixings and enough slack in the cords to swag them. That is what lets the cluster be spread across a stairwell or gathered tight over a table.

Where it works: down a stairwell void, above a bedside table in a pair of drops, or gathered over a living room corner.
