A straight matt black bar hung on two rods from a single canopy, carrying four alabaster capsule shades spaced evenly along its length.

This is the island fitting of the range, and the logic is simple. One round canopy, two angled rods, and a level bar that holds four shades in a straight line so the light lands evenly along a worktop rather than pooling under one point. Each shade is a short capsule of natural alabaster with a black cap, thin enough to glow through, and each one carries its own veining so the four are visibly different from each other. The bar overshoots the outer shades slightly at both ends, which is what stops it looking cramped.

Where it works: along a kitchen island, over a long dining table, or above a run of desks in a home office.
