Azadeh Pendant Light

A double ring of gold leaf effect metal, twisted into a single continuous loop, lit along the inner face, hung on fine wires so the loop appears to float.

The band is flat and wide, and it turns through itself so that one ring passes over and under the other, which is what makes the shape read differently from every angle. The outer face carries the gold leaf effect, mottled and slightly uneven the way real leaf is, so it catches light unevenly instead of shining flat. The inner face is a continuous diffused LED strip behind acrylic, pointing inward and down, which means the light source is never directly visible and the room gets a soft even wash rather than a glare.

Where it works: over a dining table, down a stairwell where it will be seen from more than one level, or in a living room with the ceiling height to let it float.
