Ilam Pendant Light

A tapered square cage in a whitewashed wood-look metal frame, its black X-brace trim recalling an old barn door around a single exposed bulb.

The frame narrows from a wide base to a black metal canopy at the top, each of its four sides crossed with a black X-brace that reads like the bracing on an old gate or barn door. The whitewashed finish is a wood-look coating over a metal frame rather than real timber, kept deliberately light so the black trim and the bulb inside stand out against it. It is a compact, single-drop pendant well suited to a hallway or a small kitchen run rather than a wide table.

Where it works: an entryway or hallway, above a kitchen island, or as a single accent over a small dining table.
