Bam Flush Ceiling Light

A tapered square cage in a whitewashed wood-look metal frame sits flush to the ceiling, its black X-brace trim framing a single exposed bulb below.

The cage narrows from a wide square base up to a black metal ceiling plate, each of its four faces crossed with a black X-brace in the style of an old barn door or gate. The whitewashed finish is a wood-look coating over a metal frame rather than real timber, kept deliberately light so the black trim and the bulb inside read clearly against it. It suits a small hallway, foyer or kitchen ceiling where a full-size chandelier would not fit.

Where it works: a foyer or hallway ceiling, above a kitchen island, or in a smaller living space.
