Izeh Pendant Light

A small brass dome on a black fabric flex, with a knurled collar and exposed screw heads at the shoulder. The kind of pendant you hang in threes over a worktop.

The shade is spun metal in an antiqued brass plate, domed rather than conical, with a pale painted interior that bounces light back down instead of swallowing it. The collar above it is knurled and two screw heads sit visible at the shoulder, which is where the bistro reference comes from and is the only genuinely industrial thing about it. It is small and light, so one on its own lights a corner while a run of three covers a worktop. The black fabric flex adjusts at installation, which takes it from a low ceiling to a stairwell.

Where it works: in a row of two or three over a kitchen island, or on its own above a dining table or in a hallway.
