Paveh Table Lamp

A cone of antique brass metal, narrow at the top and flaring to a wide foot, sold as a lamp base for a shade of your own choosing.

The metal has been aged rather than polished, so the surface carries a mottled, slightly green gold patina that catches light unevenly down the taper. That is the point of it: a plain cone in bright gold would look cheap, and the same cone in aged brass reads as something older. It is a base only. The cable runs from the foot with an in-line switch on it, and the lamp holder at the top takes a standard fitting and any shade with a matching ring.

Where it works: a bedroom chest of drawers, a bedside table, or a hallway console. Choose a wide drum shade to balance the flare of the cone.
