A simple frosted glass cylinder sits flush against the ceiling on a brass trim ring, small enough to use where a larger fixture would feel out of place.

The shade is a plain frosted glass cylinder rather than a shaped or faceted design, so the single lamp behind it reads as an even, soft-edged glow instead of a hard point. A brass ring sits between the glass and the ceiling, the only other visible detail on an otherwise minimal, compact silhouette. It suits a hallway, landing, or bedroom corner rather than a main living space.
