Kashan Ceiling Light

A square of opal acrylic in a shallow wood effect frame, sitting flat to the ceiling and lighting a small room evenly.

The whole face lights evenly at once rather than through a shade, so there is no bright spot and no shadow under the fitting, which is why panels like this end up in hallways and small bedrooms. The frame is MDF with a printed oak grain and a graphite aluminium edge, kept shallow enough to sit almost flat to the ceiling. The integrated LED cannot be swapped out like a bulb, so the whole panel is the light source, and it includes a timer and a night light mode operated from the supplied remote.

Where it works: a bedroom, a landing or a small home office with a low ceiling where a hanging fitting would be in the way.

The frame is MDF with a printed wood-effect finish rather than solid timber, so expect a grain pattern rather than natural wood variation.
