Aban Pendant Light

Six smoked glass cylinders hung along a wood effect beam on two black cables, sized to run the length of a kitchen island.

The cylinders sit in an alternating arrangement along the beam, which stops a row of six reading as a fence, and the smoked glass keeps the lamps visible but dulled so the beam is what you notice from across the room. The beam itself is MDF with a printed oak grain and black steel end caps, hung from a rectangular black ceiling plate on an adjustable drop. It wants an island or a long table beneath it, running its full length overhead.

Where it works: along a kitchen island, over a long dining table, or above a breakfast bar where the beam matches the run of the worktop.

The beam is MDF with a printed wood grain rather than solid timber, so expect a consistent grain pattern rather than natural wood variation.
