Ramhormoz Table Lamp

A hammered iron lamp base in warm bronze, a teardrop urn shape with a full rounded body drawn in sharply to a narrow neck.

Every surface is dimpled by hand hammering, so the bronze breaks into hundreds of small facets that catch light at different angles and give the base a depth a smooth finish would not have. The colour runs from a deep brown at the foot to copper across the shoulders where the light hits it. It sits high enough to carry a wide shade without looking top heavy. A black powder coated cable runs from the base with an in-line switch on it.

Where it works: a hallway console table, a living room sideboard, or a dining room dresser where the hammered texture reads at close range.
