Gonabad Pendant Light

A handmade, cave-like pendant in a rough natural plaster finish hollows out into two irregular openings, so light spills out through the gaps rather than a single visible bulb.

The shade is an irregular, pebble-like ellipse rather than a symmetrical dome or globe, with two hollowed openings cut into its rough, textured surface. A single bulb sits inside, and the light escapes through the cut-outs rather than through the shade material itself, giving a warm, uneven glow that changes depending on where you stand. It comes in three sizes, each with the same handmade, one-of-a-kind character and the same pair of cut-out openings.

Where it works: over a dining table, as a living room accent, or in a hallway with a raw, organic feel.
